love在这里不能理解成爱，从字面上看有点是在说喜欢的事情，任务，真正的是说 a job or mission done by someone because of his interests or being for fun, pleasure.not for any particular purpose like money or out of reluctance.就是情愿喜欢做的事情,不是为了私人利益才做的。
比如 Some people think learning english is a labor of love, but others think it's a cross to bear.
再说： ---Hey, Bill, you've been up to helping me for a long time, thank you very much.
---No sweat, it's a little bit sweaty, but it's more a labor of love. I love it.
