周二的功课
昨晚,包子背了好多篇课文,把大家都吓傻了
Yesterday evening,Baozi had recited many texts.Everybody was shocked.
只有我还象蜗牛一样,一周才背少得可怜的三篇.
But I am so slowly like a snail.
不过,我想学习,特别是语言的学习是急不来的吧,或许细水长流也是一种模式,希望能做到:只要背过的都长久地牢牢记住了.
不发感慨了,开始默写课文:
Lesson 16 A polite request
What was the polite request?
If you park your car in the wrong place,a traffic policeman will soon find it.
You will be very lucky if he lets you go without a ticket.
However,this does not always happen.Traffic policeman are sometimes very polite.
During a holoday in Sweden,I found this note on my car:
"Sir,we welcome you to our city.This is a 'no parking' area.You will enjoy your staying here if you pay attention to our street signs.This note is only a reminder."
If you receive a request like this,you can not fail to obey it.
