i agree with you on that purpose of language is communication, but a well-developed language is more than that.
you said lanaguage is nothing more than communication, i don't quite agree with you on that. there are elegance and strength of languages that has been discovered and apprecaited for generations. that is why literature is considered art instead of merely a means of communication.
if we talk about computer lanaguage, you might be right.
