创建于一九八六年的福建省泰宁县金湖炭素有限公司，位于福建省首个被联合国教科文组织评定为世界地质公园的泰宁县金湖境内。厂区占地面积21000平方米，建筑面积16000平方米，拥有高工在内的员工二百多人，生产药用、食品、工业、净化用物理法和化学法活性炭，年产量达8000吨。公司注重技术创新，与厦门大学化工系、南京林科所建立了长期技术合作关系，新研制开发的强力吸附竹质活性炭，通过了国家科技部、商业部、质检总局、环保总局的评定，荣登国家重点新产品榜。
公司注重科学管理，通过ISO9001:2000国际质量体系认证，取得了药品生产许可证书。
公司拥有自营出口权，产品行销国内外，成为三明市出口创汇和泰宁县纳税大户，被泰宁县人民政府列为“重点保护企业”，并荣膺三明市“重合同守信用”单位称号，从一九九五年起连年被中国农业银行福建省分行评为AA和信用单位。
Taining Jinhu Carbon Co., Ltd., which established in Fujian province in 1986, lies in the area of Dajin Lake in Taining County,which is the first World Geologic Park evaluated by UNESCO. The factory occupies 21,000 square meters and the building area is 16,000 square meters. There are more than two hundred employees including advanced engineers. The factory produces physical and chemical active carbon for the purification of model medicine, food and industry, whose yearly production is 8,000 tons. The company pays more attention to technology innovation and set up long-term technical cooperation relationship with the Chemistry Department of Xiamen University and Nanjing Forest Science Institute to research and develop new products--the new strong absorbing bamboo active carbon, which has passed the evaluation of Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, State Environmental Protection Administration of China. The new product has been chosed on the rank of state important new products in honor.
The company pays attention to scientific management, it passed the certification of ISO 9001 2000 quality system and the certification of GMP in succession, got the certification of quality and the license for medicine production.
The company got the self-support right to export, its products are sold outside and inside China, it became a large player who earns foreign exchange in Sanming city and a large player who pays more taxation in Taining, was listed as the "importantly protected enterprise" by Taining government, and got a name as "regard contract, keep credit" in Sanming city, since 1995, every year, it was evaluated as AA and credit company by Fujian branch of China Agricultural Bank.
