What I meant "force yourself" is just in general, not towards someone specific here. So "you" includes myself.
Certainly, English is a tool or bridge of communication. But if you want to improve your ability of using this tool well, sometimes, we need to force ourselves, especially for non-English speakers. On the other hand, English is beyond what so-called as just a tool. If you can get over it and freely use it, you can make yourself understood not only literally but also mentally. It's really a tough work to achieve that, so sometimes we have to force ourselves.
