Don't be disappointed for that
I tell you something which may relax you a lot. Couples of my friends, who are English speakers, said that even for English spearkers it's hard to understand what the people taking about when he or she firstly visited in other English speaking countries. Because every English speaking country has its own accent and quite or totally different from others. Actually, the main difference between us and English speakers is that they can get used to a new accent just in one week but maybe one month, one year or never for us. Additionally, English on the phone is quite different from it's spoken by people face to face, more difficult to understand sometimes. So it's alright. I can understand you well.
