It's not a problem of black and white.
Although you feel safe when you talk with strangers, the problem can't be solved thoroughly. Because strangers don't know you well and care you much. It's hard to believe that you can any positive ideas, solutions as well as advices from such kind of people. Consequently, I prefer looking for helps and understanding from my family and friends in realy world. Anyway, if you're just looking for listeners and trying to make yourself relaxable and comfortable, any of them is ok. So it depends.
