Role: IT manager in an International Bank
Position Summary:
A dedicated Portfolio Management System (PMS) will be required, linking into other infrastructure. The PMS is a proprietary stand-alone system, to be supported. Connectivity between PMS and other trading systems.
Responsible for the successful completion of development & maintenance of application architecture that fits in with the IT strategy. The role holder has line management responsibility for building & development of a first class application development team in the future. Also responsible for the development and maintenance of application development standards and quality assurance.
Primary Responsibilities/Function:
The candidate will be working for Asset Management Department and will be part of the IT development team. He/she is responsible for managing and maintaining the entire production technology architecture, and the following:
.Project planning & implementation.
.Capture and formally document specific client requirements to facilitate any required IT enhancement or development work.
.Project Management using formal methods
.Support & ownership of issues to complete resolution.
.Form close working relationships with Business groups to analyze opportunities for technology improvements & new service offerings.
.Support & ownership of issues to complete resolution.
.Co-ordination of all changes/releases/updates to the prod environment in conjunction with the development stream heads.
.Ensuring total operational stability of all systems and services.
Additional Requirements:
.A minimum of a College degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field of study.
.A proven track record in delivering results under time pressure is a must along with the ability and willingness to multitask and do whatever necessary to help make their project a success.
.A minimum 4 years related Project Management / business analysis experience preferably in an Information Technology Financial Services environment or a Consulting Firm in an IT Financial Services practice.
.Technical knowledge in the following areas: portfolio management/trading system, Infrastructure, Databases (MS-SQL & Oracle) software development (Java, HTML, XML)
.Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills both written and oral.
.Candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
.Good working knowledge of MS-Office, Visio and Project
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
.A professional attitude to work, with a willingness to learn
.Able to demonstrate drive and initiative
Level of Experience: more than 5 years in Financial industry or IT
Language Level Required:
English: Business, Chinese(Mandarine): Native
Mobility required (travel/relocation): Beijing-based
Salary: negotiate(above 400k annually)
