Job Title: STB native level software engineer
Responsibilities:
Software analysis and design
Write technical documents, such as Function Spec
Implement, test and maintain the STB native level software
Work with team members to integrate and test software components
Interact with external engineers to integrate and test software components, resolve technical problems, fix bugs
Travel and on-site support customer
Requirements:
5+ year software developing experience
Strong knowledge in C/C++
Knowledge in Unix/Linux is required. Knowledge in DVB standard and CAS is a plus.
Knowledge of embedded system/real time system developing, driver programming.
Knowledge of source code control, experience with CVS and Perforce is a plus.
Experience with compilers, build environments
Fluency in English, both writing and verbal
Basic Japanese language skill will be a plus.
Strong self-motivation
Good teamwork skills
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, EE or equivalent

Job Title: Interactive TV Software Engineer – Browser development
Job Description:
Software development of OpenTV’s web browser products.
Duties include software architecture and design, implementation, documentation, testing, porting, troubleshooting, integration and support.
The candidate will work on a variety of real-time embedded operating systems (Linux, VxWorks, micro-Tron, …) and development environment platforms (Linux, Windows) and provide quality software solutions for well-known worldwide consumer electronics customers.
Requirements:
Technical:
Experience in C programming for embedded system and software architecture (5 years+).
Knowledgeable in Linux/Unix software development environment (3 years+).
Interest in digital interactive television and in building reliable embedded software solutions.
Good verbal and written communications skills in English.
Education: equivalent of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
