This position is responsible for managing domestic and international food regulatory issues for XXXX China. The specific regulatory areas include but are not limited to ingredient statements and declaration, packaging statements, organic certification, genetically modified organism analysis, allergen labeling. The scope of regulatory responsibility includes China and all applicable international regulations related to ingredient status, acceptability and in general all regulatory requirements necessary for the legal movement of product within China as well as exportation to a variety of location throughout the world.Technical services manage by this position includes consultation and integration with the following areas: Export, Quality Systems, the development of Technical and Nutritional Data Sheets and formal customer Requests for Information (RFI’s). It is also the responsibility of the Regulatory Manager to stay abreast of new legislation and new regulations in order to determine the impact on the XXXX China.
