Job Overview
This position is responsible for creating and/or maintaining software applications for CA ARCserve family products. Provide complex code modification, testing and debugging tasks. Provide high level analysis related to software design and development and solve problems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and code, often for the complex units / modules / products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget.
Fix bugs, add enhancements. Perform unit / module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
Write automation and unit testing codes for newly created programming features and functions.
Assist quality assurance team by providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
Collaborate with quality assurance in creation of their test plans and participate in reviews.
Evaluate impact of software performance, and recommend changes to software design team.
Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
Set up software configuration control and software development environments including program source control to ensure reliable backups and source code integrity.
Participate in design and code reviews with other developers.
Skills and experience
1. Strong programming experience in C / C++.
2. Strong knowledge on Windows programming.

Provides analysis related to software design and development and solves problems. Evaluates impact of software performance, and recommends changes to software designers. This position works with minimal supervision and utilizes knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
Preferred Education
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Work Experience
Typically 2 – 7 years in software development (More than 7 years for Sr. position)
Skill Requirements
Strong skill and rich experience on Windows programming with C/C++.
Excellent computer science concepts (Operating Systems and Data Structures);

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation Test)
Job Overview
This position is responsible for verification that the product is implemented to the stated requirements and validation that the product functions as designed. Build and execute functional and customer use case focused tests that verify the accuracy and reliability of assigned products meet stated requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Work with development team to understand assigned modules/new product features for the purpose of developing test cases
Participate in the design spec reviews to understand design, contribute quality requirements and ensure testabilityIntegration and Performance Test
Develop and perform automated test cases for owned feature, and also monitor and maintain old feature automation set as necessary.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Work Experience
Typically 5 or more years of experience in a related role. Automation development experience preferred. Exchange/Sharepoint/Database/Unix/Linux expert is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
§ Familiarity with multiple hardware and OS platforms. Database and application knowledge
