Sales Application Engineer
Job Requirements ( Key Skills) and Experience Needed:
Main Areas of Responsibilities:
Assist carrier to conduct market study on LBS market to make sure that right questionnaire and market research approach will be adopted to get adequate information
Assist application developers to come up with product definition for LBS applications based on market study result
Assist application developers to covert product definition to software engineering document
Assist Unicom and application developers to perform application test in both lab and field environment
Communicate with Unicom, Qualcomm and handset developers on the requirement of system capacity, handset capability that are derived from specific application requirement
Job Requirements & Experience Needed:
Has at least 2 to 3 years of intensive product management experience in software development field
Has at least 2 to 3 years of handset related software architecture design experience
Experienced in C/C++, visual C++, Java and other popular handset application development software languages, professional software development certificates would be considered a plus
Understands the most popular wireless data transmission protocols such as SMS, WAP, MMS and so on
Preferably has experience in dealing with partners and/or with carriers
Education Requirement
B.E. of B.S. degree preferably in telecommunication/computer science/EE major
Dual bachelor degree in business adm., MBA is certainly considered a plus
