[all] Prepare for 41st Speech Club Meeting, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, this Thursday, Sep. 5, 2002
Dear all,
For the coming session this Thursday, following positions are open: a ToastMaster, a Table Topics Master, a General Evaluator, three Evaluator, and
a WAG. Please sign up ASAP.
This time, Albert will debut his speeche, 'The Ice Breaker'. Grace will make her 3rd speech, 'Organize Your Speech', and David will make his 4th speech,
'Show What You Mean'.
Please check if you signed up for this session and make sure you are available.
If you haven't got chances for a speaker position, and you'd like to make one, I suggest you prepare 'pocket' speeches - i.e. prepare a speech so that you are
always ready to deliver whenever there is an empty slot open at the last minute.
Also a reminder: the Speech Club is a forum for all staff to practice formal
speech, in English. It's used as a leadership, performance and capability measure for our staff. If you desired to be advanced in your career, this is one of the most important activities.
