Varro Building Materials Ltd., a company formed in Suzhou in the People’s Republic of China, is one of China’s leading manufacturers of high-end sanitary wares (e.g. bathroom sinks, faucets, lavatories, urinals, etc.). Varro is wholly-owned by Pan Star Holdings Ltd., a Hong Kong company held by a number of private investors including Varro’s Chief Executive, Charles Wai-Chung Chuk, who owns a majority interest.
We own and operate a manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China with a production capacity of 150,000 pieces per year. Currently, Varro sells under its own brand name within the domestic market, and has a presence in several major Chinese cities either through owned outlets or through distributors and agents. Varro also derives substantial revenue from its exports. The majority of its exports are destined for the United States, though Varro’s international customers also include some of the biggest labels in Mexico, Italy, Australia, South Korea, Japan, India, and Russia.
Our mission since inception in 1997 has been, and continues to be, to provide our customers with world-class sanitary wares. Firing in a degree over 1250 degree centigrade makes our products highly vitreous and intensive, with the absorption rate less than 0.5%, much lower than the average 1% rate in China. To meet the tastes of the group who pursues excellence, we have some of our white products decorated beautifully and artistically in the second firing.
Our focus on research and development since our inception in 1997 has resulted in a product line of quality design and functionality comparable to major international brands. At the beginning of 1998, we exported our 1st container to USA, and in 1999, we obtained the import license from Italy-No.1 kingdom of sanitary wares. Furthermore, in the year of 2002, we have had our products listed with UPC certification of IAPMO, a world-wide authoritative quality certification of sanitary wares.
