With five episodes left to air in Season 3 of "The Walking Dead," AMC has announced that production on Season 4 is set to begin May 6 and officially confirmed Scott M. Gimple as the new showrunner.
离《行尸走肉第三季》大结局只有5集了，该剧的新运作人Scott M.Gimple宣布，AMC已经确认续订该剧第四季。该剧第四季的制作将会在5月6号开始。
Gimple was widely known to be the choice to replace departing showrunner Glen Mazzara, but the network had not officially confirmed his role until today.

Just like Season 3, Season 4 has received a 16 episode order and is expected to premiere in October 2013.
