焦虑贴 汇总一下英语知名教材和考试
0 就目前的儿童英语教材来说， 国内自己编写的已经相当少了， 主要都是引进， 或是引进后改编的。 既然是引进的， 我个人还是希望能通过他们的原来的英文名称能对这套教材原来的编写目的和用途做一个较为确切的了解。 因为经常听家长来说， 在幼儿园用的是什么教材， 或者是在学校用了什么教材， 又在培训班用了哪些教材， 或是在家学过什么教材。。。只有对这些教材有个了解， 才能较为具体的知道孩子目前是什么水平了， 在家亲子英语该如何切入。
就国外的教材编写来说， 一般就分成那么几种
一种是针对其本国的英语是母语的孩子编写的教材， 比如， 这里很热门的 加州教材， 哈考特的分级读物， SF的分级读物， RAZ分级读物。。。
一种是针对其本国学英语的孩子编写的ESL教材， 比如 On my way to English......
第三种是针对其他国家将英语作为外语的ESL教材， 比如 3L， SBS， 3H， playway ....
新概念就不多说了
1、Oxford Reading Tree
phonics 分级读物，是英国牛津大学出版社出版的英语母语学习材料， 看一下Oxford Reading Tree 官网对这套教材的介绍：

3、企鹅阅读系列， Penguin Readers
企鹅阅读系列 是一套相当不错的阅读系列，因为在Peason Longman (国内称为朗文）， 看到原来Penguin Readers也是这个出版社出版的。 就分级阅读， 这个出版社出版了三种：
Penguin Young Readers， （k - 5年级）

4、《牛津·书虫》 the oxford world's classics
是一套简写版的世界名著, 分成若干的等级。由外研社引进出版。
看介绍说， “书虫·牛津英汉对照读物它将首先给你以自信即使你目前只有几百词汇却可以不太费劲地阅览世界名作了”
5、清华儿童英语分级读物《机灵狗故事乐园》《开心小读者》
本套丛书原名为Ready Reader， 一共8级，适合学前和小学的儿童使用。这套原版教材由教育出版集团——培生教育出版集团（朗文即培生旗下品牌之一）在美国出版。 清华大学出版社引进后，将本套丛书的前4级称为“机灵狗故事乐园”使用纸盒包装，主要供学前儿童使用。后4级称为“开心小读者”，使用塑料袋包装，主要供小学的学生使用。
《开心小读者》共分4个级别，包括18本书，8盒音带，随音带附送《辅导手册》（内含故事译文、录音串词及译文、音带中的英文歌曲的歌词及译本、单词讲解等）。整个系列结构如下：
第一级 包括4本书，两盒音带。适合小学2-3年级的学生。
第二级 包括5本书，两盒音带。适合小学3-4年级的学生。
第三级 包括4要书，两盒音带。适合小学4-5年级的学生。
第四节 包括5本书，两盒音带。适合小学5-6年级的学生。

6、幼儿园学的是playway 英语。 于是就又查了一下这是一套什么教材。

虽然明知道考试很应试，可是人在河边走哪能不湿鞋。咱们普通人家的孩子要想让孩子进个好点的学校，可能通过考试或者比赛反而是最简单的方法了。孩子的水平再高，但如果没那张证书，可能连一个面试的机会都捞不着。所以虽然不喜欢应试，但为了进个好点的小学、中学，还是不能免俗的让孩子参加了考试。

2、除三一口语外，这也是北京小升初很盛行的一种考试：MSE剑桥英语
剑桥英语五级证书考试(剑桥大学考试委员会称之为主体系列考试，Main
Suite Examinations，缩略为MSE)是英国剑桥大学考试委员会根据欧洲委员会制
定的语言教学大纲设计的英语作为外国语的五级系列考试。教育部考试中心和英
国剑桥大学考试委员会合作，于1996年引进英语入门考试(key English Test)和
初级英语考试(Preliminary English Test),于1999年引进第一英语证书考试
(First Certificate in English)。这三项考试分别是五级证书考试中的第一、
第二和第三级。该系列考试是一种对考生的英语听、说、读、写能力进行考察的
水平考试。对成绩及格者提供由英国剑桥大学考试委员会颁发的成绩合格证书。
该证书由于其考试的科学性、稳定性、权威性，在世界各国获得承认，被用于入
学、就业等各种用途。目前英国剑桥大学考试委员会在全世界135个国家设有考
点，每年参加MSE考试的人数达三十多万。
MSE剑桥英语的级别划分与适用范围
五级证书考试(MSE)共分为五个级别：
第一级，入门水平：英语入门考试 (key English Test,缩略为KET)，
第二级，初级水平：初级英语考试 (Preliminary English Test，缩略为PET)，
第三级，独立水平：第一英语证书 考试(First Certificate in English，缩略为FCE)，
第四级，流利运用：高级 英语证书考试(Certificate in Advanced English，缩略为CAE)，
第五级, 熟练 运用：熟练英语证书考试(Certificate of Proficiency in English，缩略为 CPE)。
注：CAE,CPE在国内还没有引进。
英语入门考试(KET)
KET代表使用英语应达到的最基本的要求，即具备到讲英语的国家旅游，在国内外用英语应付一般 日常会话的能力。对于在国内参加了由剑桥大学考试委员会设计的剑桥少儿英语考试(Cambridge Young Learners English Tests)一、二、三级的考生，KET是进入更高一级。
初级英语考试(PET)
PET是一种自成体系的水平考试，应具备在国内外用英语处理日常事务以及用英语与母语是英语和非英语的人士进行交往的能力。
第一英语证书考试(FCE)
FCE是剑桥英语五级证书考试的第三级，是比较重要的剑桥考试项目之一。
它要求考生具备独立运用语言的能力，包括掌握足够的词汇量，具有组织基本语
言并在不同的社交场合进行适当交流的能力。考试通过者通常能够在多种办公环
境下的文秘和管理领域有效运用英语。FCE考试作为公共联络和从事办公室工作
的有效能力测试手段，被国外商务和工业等用人部门广泛认可。FCE是各种剑桥
英语考试中投考人数最多的，每年全世界考生超过25万人。同时，作为中级语言
能力水平的证明，FCE在欧洲被广泛用来作为非英语国家留学生申请入学时语言
能力的证明。
MSE剑桥英语考试内容
考试分两个阶段进行。第一阶段为阅读、写作、听力，第二阶段为口试。
KET：阅读与写作70-80分钟，听力20分钟，口试约8分钟。PET：阅读与写作90分 钟，听力30分钟，口试约10-12分钟。FCE：阅读75分钟，写作90分钟，语言应用75分钟，听力约40分钟。口试约14分钟。
之所以在北京比较流行，是因为北京教育考试院，借奥运会的契机引进了这个考试，在北京叫做北京英语水平考试，简称BETS.
BETS的1，2，3级分别对应的就是剑桥主体5级考试的前三级。
现在北京的几个考试
1。PETS全国英语等级考试
2。BETS北京英语水平考试
3。GESE三一口语等级考试
PETS现在已经不流行了，一般6年级的学生能达到的水平是BETS1和三一口语5级。
如果能达到BETS2和三一口语7级就是比较有含金量的证书了。
有些家长觉得北京举行的BETS2竞争比较激烈。选择国外举办的PET，费用要高一些，但相对比较好通过。
