First of all, I was simply trying to understand how many people would be interested in joining this forum. There are people who want to learn English, French, Spanish, etc.. There are people who already know some English, French or Spanish and want to communicate by using these languages. There are also people who are now living in other countries and still call HLG and China HOME.
I did not mean anything offensive to anyone, plus I don't think "Everyone Please Listen" is much different than "Attention Please", on the contrary I think using "Everyone ..." to address each and every one of your audiances is more polite than w/o mentioning the "people". "Attention" is a stronger word than "Listen", the Military use "Attention" to address subordinates. I am not sure but I think "Attention" can be translated as "立正“. Now that's just my personal preference, I could very likely be wrong.
