Job Description:
The developer works as a team member of the US development team of Trapeze.com for the wireless software. The work content are general functional design and coding of the wireless network software. Initial work includes I18N related design and development.
Required Skill Set:
3+ years of Java development in multi-tiered business applications
Proficiency in APIs like Swing, Collections, IO, and JAXP
Background in XML-enabled application development using XML-related technologies like XPath, XSLT, and XQuery.
Solid object modeling skills and sound knowledge of design patterns.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with grades & coursework indicating high aptitude.
Good written and oral English communication skills
Pluses:
Good understanding of database concepts & object-relational mapping.
Experience working with Network Management and communication protocols like SNMP, CORBA, and HTTP.
Demonstrated ability working w/threads, memory management and scaling issues for multi-threaded client/server systems.
Experience in designing web-based or desktop application user interfaces.
Background in J2EE technologies for building distributed client-server systems.
Domain knowledge of enterprise wireless and security
