各位老师、同学、家长、朋友们，下午好！
我非常荣幸、感激地站在中国的土地上致辞。

人们总是问我：你为什么来中国？

我一直这么回答：安全。
五年前，当我走下从美国飞来机、走出达北京的T3航站楼时，
我准备在随身携带的防弹衣穿在身上时候。
但当我第一次看到周围善良的人们和善的气氛时，
我脱下了防弹衣
这儿的人民是太和善、太友好、近乎奢侈，
我被这一切震惊。
我在美国的一座城市长大，
在那里，每当我出门时都不得不穿上防弹衣。
否则，我有可能会被莫名且秒的射杀。
然而，当我在站在中国的大地上，
我感受到了自由。
再也不会有被沉重的防弹衣束缚了了，
再也不会感到威胁了，
再也不会感到压抑，
每一次的蹦跳都是一件快乐的事情。
当我今天站在这里，
我情不自禁的回想起那份安全的感受。
在中国，
我感觉我体会到了另外一种自由，
这让我永远心存感激，
这种自由就是无时不刻享受到的安全。
在我来到中国之前，

Teachers, classmates, parents, friends, good afternoon!

I am very honored to be grateful to stand on the land of China.

People always ask me: why do you come to China?

I have been so sure: safe.

Five years ago, when I walked down from the United States, came out of Beijing's T3 terminal,

I am ready to wear a body armor when worn on the body.

But when I first saw the good atmosphere around the good people,

I took off my body armor

The people here are too kind, too friendly, almost extravagant,

I was shocked by all this.

I grew up in a city in the United States,

There, whenever I go out have to wear body armor.

Otherwise, I may be inexplicable and seconds of shooting.

However, when I was standing on the land of China,

I feel free.

There will not be a heavy body armor bound,

No longer feel threatened,

No longer feel depressed,

Every time the bounce is a happy thing.

When I stand here today,

I can not help but think of that safe feeling.

in China,

I feel I realized that another kind of freedom,

It makes me always grateful,

This freedom is the safety of all the time.
